Fourth of July Event

Some details that might be helpful...

I have been in touch with some beverage distributors and major grocers who may donate some or all of the soda we need. This would alleviate the need for parents to use their money for the fundraiser. So hold off on buying root beer and orange soda for now! With some luck, we can get it for free or at least at a wholesale price.

In short, let's focus on the equipment we need for now. I will update this site on what we still need. If it gets to the point where we need to procure the soda on our own I will let you know.

As far as ice cream goes, we have 30 of our 35 gallons direct from Gifford's Famous Ice Cream. What could be better?! It would be good to have 5 gallons (or more) as a backup in case we really get crankin'. We'll see how things are going. You never know, we could sell everything the first day and double our profits on day 2 by having product available. Some of this, unfortunately, depends on weather so who knows?

Keep checking this site for information. It's our communication tool, a clearing house if you will. Spread the word. Let people know what's happening and appeal to anyone and everyone who could be of help. Folks in this community are more than willing to help!

As always, if you have any questions or wish to sign up (we still need people), please email me or call. Consult the work schedule. Signups: 'S' means students, 'P' means parents.
