Garden Party Fundraiser Results

Thanks to all who helped out either baking, setting up, working the event, or simply supporting the Club's efforts! There are many who do things behind the scenes and that is appreciated.

It was a warm day but we stayed in the shade almost the entire day.

The event was from 9 to 3, so a bit long for the profits but not to worry. In my view it was a big success for a number of reasons. Firstly, the money we raised helps us get to our goals. Every little bit helps! Secondly, we let the community know we are out there and working on fundraisers. A few people even offered to help out if they could. Imagine. Parents, students and I worked together as a team to make it happen. We learned stuff (bring lunch, bug spray, sunblock, scissors, and plenty of water). We also kicked around ideas (some great ones!) about other fundraisers that could generate a significant amount of money. Lastly, we had a few folks sign up for the Fourth of July fundraiser.

On that note, LISTEN UP! There are a lot of needs for this event. It's our biggest yet and could yield A LOT OF MONEY FOR THE CLUB. Please watch this site for updates and a list of needs (to the right of this screen). We need planning, product, equipment, and people.

Sign up! And thank you!
